Identifying and Preventing Wage-Hour Landmines

Through administrative rulemaking, internal policy development and decisions, the U.S. Department of Labor and the National Labor Relations Board have substantively altered the wage/hour landscape for employers throughout the United States.  Federal and State Courts have also weighed in on a plethora of issues dictating that employers manage their respective workforces in unprecedented fashion. In this session we will review the Latest Regulatory, Statutory & Case Law Developments, discuss Training Management on How to Properly Supervise Exempt vs. Non-Exempt Employees Worktime & Pay, Go over Managing Wage Disputes through Internal Processes (Implementing Effective Internal Complaint/Resolution Procedures, Implementing Valid Wage/Hour Agreements, Compensation Plans & Releases with Employees (What Works and What Doesn’t) and Utilizing Resources to Prevent Claims and Class Action Lawsuits.
